Terms & Conditions
Guidelines for clinical consultations, hospital admissions, visitor protocols, and patient care.
1 Medical Disclaimer & Clinical Practice
All clinical consultations, surgical procedures, neonatal intensive care treatments, and medications at Bachpan Hospital are provided based on professional medical guidelines and certified clinician judgment. Medical science inherently carries variable physiological responses; therefore, no guaranteed outcomes are implied. Patients and guardians are advised to strictly follow prescribed clinical advice and medication schedules.
2 Patient & Guardian Responsibilities
- Provide complete, accurate medical history, previous hospitalization records, and known drug allergies.
- Follow the prescribed dosage, dietary guidelines, and developmental care recommendations given by doctors.
- Attend scheduled review/follow-up appointments within the designated validity period (7 days).
- Notify the hospital nursing staff immediately of any sudden adverse reaction or deteriorating symptoms.
3 Appointments & Emergency Priority
Outpatient consultations are scheduled subject to doctor availability and hospital operating hours. Critical emergencies (such as neonatal asphyxia, pediatric trauma, or acute obstetric distress) will always receive immediate resuscitation priority, which may occasionally result in slight OPD waiting adjustments.
4 Payment & Billing Policy
- All OPD consultation fees, lab investigations, pharmacy dispensing, and room rents are payable as per standardized hospital tariffs.
- Digital payments (UPI, Cards, Net Banking) and Cash are accepted at the front desk billing counter.
- Advance deposits are required at the time of NICU/PICU or Inpatient ward admission.
- Fees for services rendered, opened sterile medicines, and completed diagnostic tests are non-refundable.
5 Infection Control & Visitor Policy
- To maintain sterility in the NICU, PICU, and Labour Suites, visitor entry is strictly controlled and limited to designated visiting hours.
- Sanitize hands before entering newborn care rooms and comply with sterile gowning requirements.
- Smoking, tobacco consumption, and loud noise are strictly prohibited within the hospital building.
6 Limitation of Liability
Bachpan Hospital, its medical doctors, and staff shall not be liable for complications arising from undisclosed medical history, self-medication, non-compliance with post-discharge care, or natural progression of disease conditions, except in cases of proven clinical negligence.
